Beijing Tongyizhong Specialty Fiber Technology & Development Co., Ltd., originally affiliated to Ministry of National Textile Industry, is a high-tech enterprise working on the research, production and sale of UHMWPE fibers and derivatives. Registered in Beijing Economic & Technical Development Zone with the capital of RMB 80 million, our company was wholly invested in by Sinotex Investment & Development Co., Ltd. (a listed company with the stock code of 600061)

Since 1990, our company has persisted in taking enterprise as main body, and has been integrating scientific research institutes, universities, and other scientific and technological innovative resources together, and developing the cooperation among enterprises, universities and research institutes by tackling key problems jointly. Our company innovatively designed the processing technology of UHMWPE dry-wet gel spinning and hot ultra-drawing with our own characteristics, developed the corresponding production equipment, and accomplished the integrated engineering complement. Our engineering capacity and environmental status have reached the leading level at home. Our project has passed the acceptance evaluation organized by China National Textile and Apparel Council and has won "The Second Prize for Textile Scientific and Technological Advance". In recent years, our company has innovatively designed continuous direct gel spinning production technology which appeared at the first time in China and has come up to the advanced technical level of the same profession worldwide.

Our "Safetex" UHMWPE and "Savior" bulletproof non-woven cloth, burster blocks, stab-resistant materials and protective fabrics, featured by their military and commercial applications, have passed the test of Ministry of Public Security and relevant departments and complied with national standards. Our products are widely used in the fields of defense armament, police device, aerospace, ship, warship, offshore petroleum, medical appliance and sport product. Our fiber products, which have been applied to marine salvage recycling system, military amphibious tank landing system and military airstrip emergency landing system, have made great contribution to the construction of China's defense and public security equipment, and earned good economical and social benefits. All products have completely autonomous intellectual properties and obtained lots of invent patents in covering fiber, bulletproof unidirectional (UD) sheet and stab-resistant material.
